Southern NJ LGBTQ PrideOn Sunday, September 13th the Southern New Jersey LGBT community will come together for the 7th Annual Pride Celebration. The Southern New Jersey Pride Committee has worked extremely hard this year to offer the community a bigger and better celebration. 

LGBTQA pride organizers stress that PRIDE is a positive stance against discrimination and violence toward the community and is self-affirming. It increases LGBT visibility as a social group, builds community and celebrates sexual diversity and gender variance. 

The Girlfriends will headline the 2015 Southern NJ LGBT PrideThe Southern New Jersey group works all year to educate the community on prominent issues within the community with a concentration on southern New Jersey. South Jersey Pride in past years has  brought together hundreds of individuals and families, community organizations and neighborhoods throughout the New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania regions. Southern New Jersey LGBTQA Pride is the only and pride event of its kind in Southern New Jersey.

It is held at Cooper River Park in Pennsauken near the baseball field/ Christopher Columbus Statute. There is a co-op BBQ. Vendors, games, and entertainment. It is all free and open to the public.

This year headliners include NJ’s own The Girlfriends with celebrity guest appearances from Carl Max as Whitney Houston , Rasta Boi Punany, Andrea Lamour, Karen Vonsay, Cast of LesBe Real Radio Talk, DJ Deluxx, Ms. Leather NJ – Nikki Wireman, Comedian Michelle Tomko, Motivational Speaker – Dionne aka D.H., Donna Ria, Trenton C. Snow, Ginger Alley, and many more.
