Montclair Pride 2024 promo

Montclair Pride has been ranked among the top suburban Pride events in the nation by Visit NJ, the state’s leading tourism organization. This exciting recognition comes as Out Montclair gears up to host their biggest event of the year on Saturday, June 8, 2024.

The Montclair Pride festival will span over five blocks in the heart of downtown Montclair from 12pm to 6pm on Saturday. It will be followed by a 6pm to 9pm Street Dance Party and an Official After Party from 9pm to 1am. The festival area is just steps from NJ Transit buses and trains and organizers are promising an amazing experience. The title sponsor is Audi Tristate Dealers.

“Pride events are more important than ever in the face of increasing anti-gay and anti-trans rhetoric,” said Marie Cottrell, Director of Out Montclair. “They provide a vital space for celebrating and affirming LGBTQ+ identities, fostering community, and standing strong against hate and discrimination. These events remind us of the ongoing fight for equality and the importance of solidarity and visibility in creating a safer, more inclusive world.”

9+ hours of entertainment across 3 stages

In addition to the three stages there will be more than 190 vendors for the ultimate shopping experience while supporting local businesses, artisans, crafters and community organizations, said Montclair Pride in a press release. They said there will be three bars and a beer garden stocked with beer, wine, bubbly, and cocktails, and many diverse food truck and vendor options

IKEA will sponsor the Family Zone with crafts, Drag Story Time, DJ, and local talent (IKEA furniture and mats will be donated to the library post-event.) There will be an interactive Audi art car experience in the Family Zone.
