NUTLEY – Civil Unions were not very popular on November 1 in Nutley as the last of this year’s Civil Union Commission meetings was held. “It is not working as effectively as if the word marriage were used,” said Frank Vespa-Papaleo of the New Jersey Division on Civil Rights, “That could be controversial. I could lose my job for saying that.” But never the less he did say it.
