Families Joined by Love, an online resource “for LGBT parents, their children, and the professionals who serve this growing community,” which provides information and community based support in the form of discussion boards, recently launched a new political action blog to address issues faced by LGBT families. The topics covered are quite varied and include, among others, second parent adoption, the debate over civil union vs. gay marriage, and the potential of gay fathers to subvert traditional gendered notions of what it means to be a dad.
