Leo (July 23-August 22): A New Moon with your Sun still in your sign; this ought to bring easy passage through the rest of the summer but such is not the case. Saturn being in opposition to your Moon makes even the simplest tasks exponentially more irritating. Of all of us, you will be the one most in need of allowing extra time to get anything accomplished. We’ll just wait until you’re ready.

Virgo (August 23-September 22): Venus and Jupiter are trying their darndest to gang up on your Moon this cycle, like well-meaning but contradictory in-laws, however you might perceive them. The net effect is you’re being gracious under pressure, spending more of your time and treasure then you make care to make others happy. Your new nickname is deep pockets.

Libra (September 23-October22): How nice, you get to be the stable and dependable one at every gathering, the voice of reason in every argument. Not that your temperament is generally a problem but this round, you are the voice of reason, whether others wish to hear you or not.

Scorpio (October 23-November 21): No rest for the weary—or the wicked, come to think of it. This time around, you embody the first on the list. Don’t expect a lot of time to enjoy the simple pleasures that the summer might afford you; you’ll be called upon all hours of the day and night to get others out of the holes that they have dug for themselves. Keep a flashlight, a ladder, and plenty of rope handy.

Sagittarius (November 22-December 22): Jupiter, the retrograde, is still your ruling planet, and still adores you, seemingly. While Mars and Neptune do their darndest to hold you back, Jupiter comes to save the day as best it can. You just need to be satisfied with small victories, small pleasures.

Capricorn (December 22-January 19): Like Rooster in “Annie”, you really seem to be on “Easy Street”. Out of all of us, you were the one that could start a new business, or a new life, from scratch and be the biggest, best success you could imagine. I suppose we could despise you for it but no, we’ll just hope to receive your cast offs.

Aquarius (January 20-February 18): Pick a ruling planet, Saturn or Uranus; whichever you choose, they certainly have your back. It would be better to use their protection for good, rather than some of the shady dealings that you have in mind. They’ll succeed as well but the success will harden your heart.

Pisces (February 19-March 20): The New Moon in August turbocharges your ambitions with a new burst of enthusiasm and energy (perhaps more than is required). There’s a danger of stretching yourself too thin, and ending up flat on your back and not in a good way. If you pace yourself, you will achieve much.

Aries (March 21-April 20): Your chances this season seem to have nothing much to do with Mars, your ruling planet; odd that. Jupiter seems to encourage your chances for honor and success and it might all come a bit too easily without your usual drive. Perhaps that might be for the best for us all.

Taurus (April 21-May20): It’s you, Moon, over the harvest festival of Lammas but Saturn has you doing all the drudge work rather than celebrating. At least Uranus, these next two months, provides you with enough self-confidence to let others know that you know they’re taking advantage.

Gemini (May 21-June 20): It’s a good thing that Mercury, your
ruling planet, has your best interests at heart, allowing you to squeak by with brilliance when your actions and impulses make things more, rather than less, difficult. You can blame your Moon being square Neptune for your deciding on unreasonable courses of action. Expect to get stranded in a few cul-de-sacs along the way before you can talk your way out of them.

Cancer (June 21-July 22): A powerful determination comes your way this part of the summer, courtesy of Uranus giving you great confidence, allowing you to harness the desires stirred up by Neptune. Overcoming obstacles will be easier than it has been in the past, and trust me honey, there will be some Olympic size hurdles standing in your way. Surmount them.
