Leo (July 23-August 22): it would seem that August will not be as placid as you might hope for. In general, the planets are rooting for you, but are expecting you to put out a little more effort to invest more of your time to important things rather than distractions. You may spend more time in September clawing back what has been dissipated in August.

Virgo (August 23-September 22): Your sign enters an astrological sweet spot as September winds up, the Sun moving into Virgo during the New Moon. This sets up an ideal support structure for your indefatigable efforts. However, your ruling planet, Mercury, has a tendency to turn you into Hillary Clinton, in the eyes of those whom you are attempting to persuade.

Libra (September 23-October 22): All of one’s dreams appear to be siphoned off by the aspects impinging on your sign during August. On the bright side, this allows for increased capacity to dream big as the Autumnal Equinox (along with the New Moon) reopens the gates of Morpheus. This may be a good night to keep a pattern paper by your bedside to record important new messages from the other side.

Scorpio (October 23-November 21): Sometimes, it may seem as though the heavenly bodies are in the driver’s seat, and there are times that we wish they would relinquish that place. For you, as we move toward the end of summer and into fall, they are acting more as driving instructors, insistent on you practicing parallel parking and backing up. I hope you weren’t expecting forward movement on projects as it seems you will be tasked to repeat, repeat, and repeat. On the bright side, this should allow you to refine your approach.

Sagittarius (November 22-December 21): Duty calls. While you might prefer to spend the next little while swinging in a hammock, taking stock of your achievements during the summer, I fear that this is not to be. Your ruling planet, Jupiter, is the one at rest, and is allowing Saturn and Neptune to nudge you into stepping up to your responsibilities.

Capricorn (December 22-January 19): Saturn is not doing you any favors these next couple of months; at least, that’s how you might see it. This is not a dynamic time for you, and if you are inclined toward excitement, I’m afraid that you will have to settle for just the luxury of having the time to organize drawers, getting your affairs in order, making things as neat as a pin.

Aquarius (January 20-February 18): Unlike some astrological signs, Saturn is on your side, marshaling enthusiasm, cajoling a turbocharge from Mars, to get you over some of life’s little speed bumps. A new reserve of gumption is available to you, and you should be happy to spend this time rearranging circumstances to best suit you.

Pisces (February 19-March 20): Thanks to Uranus, it seems that your progress down the freeway of love require defensive driving. You are chattering across potholes, steering to avoid unfinished stretches of pavement as you tend to over-steer. You need to look in all directions whenever you leave the house.

Aries (March 21-April 20): Best to keep a careful eye on cherished belongings, as we proceed through August. Make sure that they’re properly secured. The astrological aspects as we move into September make this more an issue than is usually the case. You might require security in areas where it was previously unneeded.

Taurus (April 21-May 20): As much as you may feel that you are not pushing yourself hard enough, or not seeing the results that you were expecting, there is progress being made in regards to your social interactions. There is a substantial shift in attitudes regarding the one that you have been seeking. Stay at your current course, and greater affection will be expressed.

Gemini (May 21-June 20): While you generally do think before you speak, it would seem better for you to devote more time to laying out your argument by repeating it to yourself and refining your presentation. You may feel that your contributions are being overlooked, and it would seem that you are correct. You might want to consider approaching the subject from a more oblique angle rather than head on.

Cancer (June 21-July 22): Though you have invested a great deal of mental agility while framing your talking points, you may be embellishing the main point to such an extent that it’s getting lost in its presentation. This holds true whether reflecting on a work problem or in how you are perceived by others. Simplify and refine, that’s the ticket!
