Out Pets at Ramapo Bergen Animal Refuge
Voted one of America’s best shelters by Independent Charities of America, Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge, Inc. is a no-kill animal shelter in Oakland, NJ. It provides every animal they rescue with the love and support they need until their adoption day. RBARI is more than just a safe haven for cats and dogs of all ages; it actively participates in its surrounding community. They offer humane education courses in local schools and a calendar of events in which all proceeds go towards the well-being of their animals. The staff at RBARI is knowledgeable about each of their pets and can guide you through your adoption process step by step.
Clarice is a precious tabby cat who was dumped at RBARI and is still a bit scared. Being in the shelter has caused her some anxiety. So, she will need a family with patience and time to socialize her. Once she is more comfortable and has adjusted to her new home, you will see how playful and affectionate she can be! She would do best in a home with children over 10 years old. She is under one-year old and has been spayed and vaccinated.
Bonnie is an adorable, three-year old Pit bull/Beagle mix. She has a wonderfully endearing personality to match her good looks. Everyone at the shelter loves her. She is an intelligent girl who will fall very much in love with her family and be completely devoted to them. Sadly, Bonnie was abused before she came to RBARI. But now she understands that people can be kind and the world can be good. Now she loves to give hugs to her people! She lights up when she is about to go for a walk or a car ride. She will be the happiest dog in the world just to be with her forever family. Bonnie’s forever family must have loads of time and patience for her, and continue to shower her with gentleness and love. She requires an adult-only home. She’s spayed and up-to-date on all vaccines.
