Meet li’l boy Blue! He’s 1.5 years old and most likely a Pit bull mix. He’s a very fun little guy with lots of energy. He loves playing with tough (unstuffed) toys and getting belly rubs, but he would love nothing more than to fine his forever family in 2018! He can be selective when it comes to accepting other dogs, so he would benefit from some obedience training — which will also provide his adopter(s) a wonderful opportunity to bond with their new best friend!

And now we have adorable Cora. She’s an extremely sweet nine-year old tabby cat. This little beauty starts off shy but, once she warms up to you, she can’t get enough chin scratches. She’s a gentle little girl who will make a wonderful companion and lap warmer during these horrible Jersey winters!

Please visit the Township of Union Animal Shelter at 908 Jefferson Ave, Monday through Saturday. The staff members there are extremely caring people who are positively dedicated to improving the lives of homeless animals. They go above and beyond the call of duty to find perfect forever homes for all the pets in their care.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
Always, always, always get your pets spayed or neutered! Everyone knows that few things in life are cuter than playful little puppies and kittens … But, horrifyingly, only one out of every five dogs and cats born will find a forever home. That means about 80% of them are euthanized due to no fault of their own. Please help to change this sad reality now by having all of your pets spayed or neutered.
