During the past several months, a series of tragic suicides has focused the LGBT community and much of the nation on the problem of gay kids killing themselves because they just couldn’t take the hate any longer. Much of the problem stems from bullying in school. Families may not know their child is being bullied but teachers and administrators DO know. As a retired teacher with over 30 years in education I can say absolutely that anytime school personnel say they did not know, they are lying.
