BOOK REVIEW – Street Child by Justin Reed Early
Street Child is a truly amazing testimony to the power of the human spirit to transcend the most horrific disadvantages and to turn those very blows of “outrageous fortune” into empowerment and the determination to help save others who likewise suffer. Thrown out of his home at the age of ten by a viciously abusive father, Justin Early hit the very mean streets of Seattle like one more lamb to the slaughter. He quickly acquired the distinction of being the youngest boy ever arrested for prostitution in the state.
Becoming a part of the city’s youth street culture, Justin was on the inevitable downward spiral of drugs and petty crime.
