The classic battle of the sexes comes to life in The Taming of the Shrew

Director Bonnie J. Monte and the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey bring the Bard’s classic battle of the sexes to life in The Taming of the Shrew.

Baptista, a lord of Padua and played by Joseph Costa, has decreed that his younger daughter Bianca, played to flighty perfection by Katie Fabel, shall not marry before his eldest daughter Katherina, tempestuously portrayed by Victoria Mack. Bianca’s suitors despair at this hopeless state of affairs, and so proceed with different schemes.
