The climate is changing. Whether you believe that humans are contributing or not is inconsequential given the parameters of what is occurring, and what is going to occur within the next fifty years. In order to understand the reality of environmental risk, we must examine the factors that contribute to it.
Climate Change, a much more accurate and appropriate term than “Global Warming,” indicates vicissitude in a region’s climate, which may include temperature, wind patterns, and precipitation. Although considered a very natural phenomenon, there is current disagreement over the possible effects that a warmer climate will have on current society and earth. Will it keep getting hotter? What’s happening to the ice caps? Are we in danger?
