COMMENTARY.
When the leaves fall to the ground and the sun sets earlier, individuals mostly aged fourteen to nineteen enter the halls of school once more. For most, the years of high school are supposed to be one’s “golden years;” the time of their lives and of the most self-growth. However, for many teens who identify themselves as gay, lesbian, or bisexual – and those who are supporters or friends of the LGBT student populace – high school becomes a time of hell.
