New Jersey’s largest LGBT celebration is now in its 28th year
Vendor applications for the 28th Annual LGBTQ Pride Celebration in Asbury Park are now available online, so Jersey Pride is not far away! On June 2, the parade, rally, and festival take place from noon to 7 pm in front of Convention Hall.
Last year’s event, attended by more than 20,000, was a major success with more than 200 artisans, merchants, community organizations, and food establishments providing goods, services, and information. Organizers are excited this year as this is the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall riots in New York City, and so are expecting that this and all LGBT Pride events across the country will be bigger than ever.
Here are some important deadlines for businesses, groups and organizations at 2019 Jersey Pride:
May 1: Advertising deadline for the Jersey Gayze parade and festival magazine
- May 15: Parade registration deadline
- May 15: Late fee of $75 for non-food and group vendors
