The Texas Republican Party would like to make it illegal to have oral or anal sex, and have voted on a party platform to bring this and other unlikely scenarios to fruition in Texas regardless of the Supreme Court or other case law. They would also like to give jail sentences to anyone who issues a marriage license to same-sex couples, even though, gay marriage is not valid in the state of Texas at this time.
The Grand Old Party of Texas, Republican, platform says homosexuality “tears at the fabric of society, contributes to the breakdown of the family unity and leads to the spread of dangerous communicable diseases.
