Sprout is drama by the bushel

A young man loses his mother, while his father loses his mind.  This is where Dale Peck’s Sprout begins.

Rarely does someone in high school get to choose a nickname and this is no exception.  When Daniel Bradford’s roots are uprooted from Long Island after his mother’s death and his father’s surprise move to Kansas where they settle, the culture shock could not be greater.  For one thing, Daniel’s now more visible as there are fewer kids in his school.  For another, Daniel has an epiphany about himself and his sexuality.
