Pets
Every year, Somerset Regional Animal Shelter takes in nearly 1,000 animals including cats, dogs, rabbits, and more. In addition to finding these animals their forever homes, SRAS also provides behavior modification training, animal control services, affordable spay and neuter services, and pet retention programs. SRAS rescues dogs from high-skill shelters in the American South. The volunteers there are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They truly get to know and love each pet in their care.
When you adopt, your tax-deductible donation will help to ensure that more precious animals will be safe, cared for, and loved. The shelter is open every day from 12–4 pm, and until 7pm on Wednesdays.
Meet Fidget! He is a 1.5 year old Cattle Dog mix that is looking for a new, active family. Fidget is very smart and absolutely loves to play fetch! He can catch balls and treats right out of the air. He would love a family that will play with him and teach him new things,
keeping his mind and body active and healthy. Fidgit has an adorable underbite that makes him even cuter than most! He will do best with a dog-savvy owner who has experience with active dog breeds and who has no small children at home.
Meet Zorro! He is a super handsome male cat that is looking for a new forever family. He’s a sweet-natured little boy that enjoys affection from his humans. He has a lot of love to give one lucky family. Vaccinations are up to date and he is neutered.
