Director Bonnie J. Monte created the perfect atmosphere of holiday cheer in the Shakespeare Theatre’s production of A Christmas Carol. They expertly recounted the story of the curmudgeonly Ebenezer Scrooge, played with biting wit by Sherman Howard, who terrorizes his poor clerk Bob Cratchit, played with great humility by Greg Jackson.
