SHOW REVIEW – Amadeus at the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey

1480

Director Joe Discher’s glittering interpretation of Amadeus represents yet another ringing triumph for the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey. It is a testament to the skill of the Shakespeare Theatre that they kept this reviewer on the edge of his seat for the better part of three hours; time really does fly by when you are having fun. Antonio Salieri, court musician at the court of Austria, serves as both the narrator and main protagonist of this tale of intrigue and betrayal.
