For a small city, Trenton has a surprising number of real treasures. Among these is the Passage Theater Company at Mill Hill Playhouse. Housed in a wonderful space created out of an early 19th Century stone church, the intimate performance area was perfect for the delightful, one-man tour de force created and performed by Jeffrey Solomon. With no more than an occasional change of hat to assist him in creating a character, Solomon provided us with a cast ranging from a little boy, through an Hispanic bar queen, an elderly theatrical agent and Santa himself – each unique and utterly convincing.
