When traditional households slim down, research shows that it’s largely due to women making smarter health decisions for men. But little is known about how gay and lesbian couples might be contributing to the physical well-being of one another. A Rutgers-Camden researcher is working to gain insight into how lesbian relationships influence health outcomes and is seeking volunteers for her ongoing study, funded by the Gay and Lesbian Medical Association.
