Final Hope is an animal rescue organization that strives to provide help to New Jersey’s abandoned and neglected pets. The animal rescue has been operating in Jersey City and Toms River for over 10 years.
At the heart of the rescue organization lives a mission to offer temporary shelter, socialization, and medical care to homeless animals, and to place them in loving and secure “forever” homes, says the rescue’s website.
“With countless feral cat colonies all across New Jersey and thousands of kittens born each year, most of whom die from hunger and disease, Final Hope is actively involved in Trap-Neuter-Release programs that are the only effective form of population control and contribute to the well-being of stray cats,” reads the rescue’s bio.
However, recently, the organization has stopped taking kitten and cat rescues until Final Hope can catch up a little.
“We have temporarily stopped taking in any cats/kittens right now. It has become too much financially, emotionally, and physically. Once we can pay some of our vetting bills and finalize some more adoptions, we will be able to resume rescue,” reads Final Hope’s Facebook page.
This means there are many cats available for foster and adoption at Final Hope.
Hannah has the prettiest orange fur and loves to sit on your lap. She is a female adult of medium size, will always greet you, and loves being the center of attention.
Halo is a small male kitten with a bluish-gray short fur coat and matching eyes. He is another kitty who loves being the center of attention and longs for a home of his own.
