Recruiters told to accept applications from gays

On October 19, 2010 military recruiters were told they must accept applications from gays and lesbians, even if they “admit” to being gay, following a court decision striking down the ban on gays serving openly in the military. The ban on gays in the military has been suspended for now, but recruiters are told to warn applicants this could be reversed at any time.
