Qspot will honor LGBT advocates at Jubilee Dinner Community Awards

Three generations of LGBT advocates will be honored by QSpot LGBT Community Center at the Community Awards Jubilee Dinner. Each has worked to improve the lives of LGBT people and support the Monmouth County LGBT Center.

This year’s QSpot Community Award honorees are Ann Baker, Sharon Davis, Chris Generoso, Nancy Larson, Mike Long, Phil McCabe, Steven Rosato, Tom Seidner, and Jean Shoulter.  They will be recognized on Saturday, June 3rd, at 6pm at the Riverview Waterfront Pavilion, in Belmar, NJ.

Ann Baker (posthumous award) – Ann was a tireless advocate for women and a longtime social justice activist fighting for the LGBT community.

Sharon Davis – Extraordinary QSpot volunteer and Neptune community leader.

Chris Generoso – Former QSpot Board member and dedicated QSpot volunteer and supporter.

Nancy Larson and Jean Shoulter – Long-standing LGBT community advocates and local Ocean Grove community leaders.

Mike Long, Partner, Lowenstein Sandler, Lowenstein Center for the Public Interest – Advocate attorney defending QSpot against eviction by Jersey Shore Arts Center.

Phil McCabe CSW, CAS, DRCC – National LGBT educator and advocate.  Long-standing NJ LGBT leader.

Steven Rosato, Lowenstein Sandler, Lowenstein Center for the Public Interest – Advocate attorney defending QSpot against eviction by Jersey Shore Arts Center.

Tom Seidner –  Business leader, lifelong LGBT community advocate and QSpot Supporter.
