CD review – Ellie Goulding – Lights.
With what I like to call “Dido hits the dancefloor”, Ellie Goulding hits the charts with her new single “Lights” (and a tour that kicked off July 23rd in Atlanta.) The remix package is definitely a mixed-bag.
From the romantic and hypnotic feel of the Max Gordon Remix, where the track is slowed down to a dreamy, late-night vibe. The MK Charlee Dub is a very electronic version of the track. The Fernando Garibay remix is definitely one of the standouts on the package, turning an already lush track with heavy vocals into a dancefloor hit.
