Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset became the first hospital in New Jersey to offer specialized primary care services for the LGBT Healthcare community. RWJ opened its PROUD Family Health at the RWJ Somerset Family Practice.
A ribbon cutting ceremony was held at the PROUD Family Health office on February 8th to celebrate its opening.
PROUD Family Health
PROUD Family Health provides services tailored to meet the unique health care needs of LGBT Healthcare in a safe, supportive environment. Services include primary medical care for children and adults. Additionally, hormone therapy and monitoring, HIV care, health education, counseling, support groups and referrals for specialty services are available. Behavioral health services are also offered.
