President Obama Gains Support in Repealing DADT


During his State of the union address last week, President Barack Obama said "This year, I will work with Congress and our military to finally repeal the law that denies gay Americans the right to serve the country they love because of who they are."

Now two of the highest-ranking officials are in support of repealing DADT. Adm. Mike Mullen, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff told the Senate Armed Services Committee, "Repealing DADT was the right thing to do,"
