NJEQ Launches Photo Shoot Benefit For Clementi family

New Jersey Equality Launches Critical Photo Shoot to Help the Clementi Family
by William R Loschiavo

Michael Craft and his NJEQ Team have launched an urgent photo shoot in light of the recent string of highly publicized teen suicides due to anti-gay bullying. The shoot is set to take place Monday, October 11 to coincide with National Coming Out Day,

“A friend gave me the idea as far as doing something and it really made me think that NJEQ can stand for much more than gay marriage, especially in light of the recent suicides. I’m hoping I can take this to the next level, as far as it wont be so much a copy of the NOH8 campaign, which really just pertains to Prop8. Now NJEQ can stand for much more as far as the state is concerned.”

Like the previous shoots, the first that took place at an art show in Upper Saddle River and second at powerhouse nightclub Paradise, there will be a fee of $25 per person, $10 of the $25 will go to the Clementi family (or if any group is organized in his name in the meantime). It is recommended that those who are interested in partaking in the cause, besides wearing a white t-shirt/tank top and coming make-up ready, bring a special prop or object that represents their passion.
