Group is helping to fund the anti-gay No on 8 campaign

The Anti-gay New Jersey group National Organization for Marriage (NOM) has entered the California gay marriage battle in a big way. They are a taxable political advocacy group and can raise money without any contribution limits. After starting out in New Jersey last year they opened a California chapter in January. By March of 2008 the group had raised over $775,000, according to campaign finance filings.
