New Jersey Supreme Court tells LGBT same-sex couples to take their case elsewhere

The New Jersey Supreme Court has voted 3 to 3 against taking the marriage equality case directly. The Court has told Lambda Legal to file a new case at trial. The 3 to 3 vote is a loss for the lesbian and gay community, as a simple majority would have been needed to take the case.  LGBT and other civil rights organizations are not happy with the vote; a tie is the same as a loss.
