The New Jersey AIDS Walk is being held on May 1, 2016 in five separate locations with thousands of people walking in solidarity throughout the state of NJ to support people living with HIV/AIDS.
This coordinated effort is designed to raise awareness that AIDS is still a major healthcare issue in our state, as well as raise funds to help support the efforts of the participating HIV/AIDS Service Organizations. The five NJ agencies supported by this walk are the South Jersey AIDS Alliance in Atlantic City, North Jersey Community Research Initiative in Newark, Buddies of NJ in Ridgewood, New Jersey AIDS Services in Morristown, and The Center in Asbury Park.
