Trenton, N.J. January 11, 2010 – The legislature approved a bill that would make New Jersey the 14th state to allow chronically ill patients to have access to medical marijuana. Governor Jon Corzine said he will sign the bill before he leaves office next week.
The bill will allow patients who are chronically ill from diseases such as cancer, AIDS and multiple sclerosis to buy up to two ounces of marijuana a month at one of the six state monitored not for profit dispensaries.
