LGBT Sensitivity Training Begun For Regional Hotel Staffs

For same-sex couples, checking into a hotel can sometimes be an awkward situation. To help alleviate some of that uneasiness in the Valley Forge area, the Valley Forge Convention and Visitors Bureau recently offered a gay sensitivity training to educate its area hospitality professionals.

Produced by the Philadelphia Gay Tourism Caucus and Temple University’s School of Hospitality and Tourism, the program featured four actors simulating situations that often occur involving lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender hotel guests.
