The prominent commentator Michael Savage started something after the suicide of Tyler Clementi and so many other gay kids. He wrote a letter to himself as if he could reach back in time to when he too was a bullied and at-risk kid and send a message to hold on, things will get better. Many of us – indeed most of us who are LGBT have had those fears and felt that hopelessness when we were young.
