An Orlando gay nightclub shooting at 2am this morning has just updated the number of casualties to 50, and 53 injured. The shooter has been identified as Omar Mateen of Port St. Lucie Florida.

We are celebrating Gay Pride this month and we should not be mourning or having to bury our dead brothers and sisters. Our prayers go out to all the victims and their chosen and biological families. Some relatives will find out for the first time this morning that their loved ones are LGBT. The pain and heartache will be unbearable for so many.
