The Imperial Court of New York raises over $275,000

The Imperial Court of New York raised over $275,000 for LIFEbeat — The Music Industry Fights AIDS and MCCNY Homeless Youth Services (Sylvia’s Place) at the 23rd Annual Night of a Thousand Gowns, an extravagant charity ball held on March 21st at Time Square’s Marriott Marquis Hotel.

“Making a difference in the lives of people can have a powerful impact,” said Gary F. Cosgrove, ICNY President. “Tonight we celebrate the extraordinary commitment, leadership and energy of The Imperial Court of New York which has made such a significant imprint on the continuance of our City’s non-profit organizations.”

In these most trying times, with many thinking twice about being as generous as they once were, and with government grant budgets being cut, nonprofit agencies are being severely affected.  But challenging times need not be joyless times.
