Renowned tech journalist Kara Swisher will speak at Kean University as part of its distinguished lecture series on Oct. 21. She will cover the impact of artificial intelligence and the shift of power towards technology.
Swisher plans to address recent legal challenges facing tech giants, like Google’s antitrust case, and the influence of big tech in national politics.
Swisher hosts On with Kara Swisher and co-hosts Pivot, two podcasts about technology and politics. She is an editor-at-large for New York magazine, and a former contributor to The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, and other publications over the course of her journalism career, which has spanned over 30 years. She is also the author of three technology-focused books and has plans for another book, documentary, and podcast series in progress.
