The all volunteer staff from Jersey Pride Inc. that put on the June 1, 2008 17th Annual New Jersey Gay Pride in Asbury Park were incredible. Over 20,000 people were there. That is the largest crowd ever. Were you there? Stage headliner Martha Wash was superb and performed for the LGBTI crowd with energy that was infectious. It was a great day for gay pride in New Jersey.
