Jersey City Lesbian and Gay Outreach (JCLGO) voted unanimously to close its doors but made arrangements to move the Jersey City Pride festival and all of their pride events to a new home at Hudson Pride Connections Center. For the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender (LGBT) people in Jersey City, “pride” has always meant two things: the annual LGBT Pride march and festival held every August, and Hudson Pride Connections Center, the community services center on Jones Street near Journal Square.
