COMMENTARY – It’s time to stop using the carrot and start using the stick
It’s all there on the front page of the Sunday Star-Ledger (11/15/09): "For Dems, a last shot to create mischief." Or, to translate, there’s a lame duck session of the legislature that might take the next two months to pass laws the incoming governor — and the people who elected him to office — might not like.
