Hyacinth Foundation will host its annual 2022 Gala and Silent Auction on the evening of November 5th at The Meadow Wood. The Gala is an evening of dinner and dancing, a silent auction and after party activities. The Gala starts at 7pm and will run until midnight at The Meadow Wood located at 461 NJ State Route 10 in Randolph.
Each year at the Hyacinth Foundation Annual Gala they honor and pay tribute to the leaders in the fight to end the spread of HIV/AIDS in New Jersey. This year Hyacinth will honor David France, An American investigative reporter, non-fiction author, and Oscar nominated documentary filmmaker, with the 2022 Hyacinth Award.
The 2022 Riki Jacobs Social Justice Award, created to honor those who have made outstanding contributions to the advancement of social justice and advocacy for those living with HIV/AIDS, will be given to Dr. Chris T. Pernell. An apostle of Public Health and American College of Preventive Medicine Regent-at-Large.
The 2022 Deloris Dockrey Community Advocate Award, created to honor those who fight for those living with HIV, will be given to Janice Adams-Jarrells. Janice is a strong voice for those living with HIV, and the community is thankful to have her.
