The Hudson Pride Connections YouthConnect program in Jersey City says it has lost 85 percent of its funding, leaving the organization unable to provide critical services to help support the needs of LGBTQ youth. YouthConnect is Hudson County’s only program dedicated to providing direct services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) youth between the ages of 13 and 19.
