Sasha is a petite tortoise shell cat with mesmerizing green eyes. She is about nine-years old and front declawed. The little sweetheart is not happy as a shelter cat. She lived in a home for so long, she will settle into her new one very quickly. The animal shelter staff thinks Sasha would prefer to be an only kitty. If you are looking for a snuggle buddy on your couch, she’s your girl!
Sasha enjoys being pet, and is not a high-energy kitty. She is spayed and up-to-date on her vaccinations.
Linguine is a big boy at about 44 pounds. He loves to eat! He is past the excitable puppy stage and has settled into the relaxed-walking, easy-going, “good dog” stage of life. This mixed breed guy is about four to five years old and does well sharing a home with other dogs. Linguine is spayed and up-to-date on his vaccinations. But, really … just look at that handsome face with the great, big smile! What else could you possibly need to know??
Please adopt one (or both!) of these gorgeous pets at Homeward Bound Pet Adoption Center, formerly known as Camden County Animal Shelter (CCAS) in Blackwood, NJ. Homeward Bound is the leading animal welfare agency in the region with the highest intake and the highest save rate, achieving a 90% save rate in 2018. Their animal welfare and community service programs are supported by contributions, grants, and bequests.
This fantastic organization also runs the Camden County Pet Food Pantry, which keeps pets with their families by providing nutritional assistance to those who need it. Financial hardship is the most common reason for owners surrendering pets to animal shelters. The only requirement is need.
Camden County Pet Food Pantry locations are open to the public from 11am to 1pm on the second Saturday of every third month. Contact: (856) 401-1300 // 125 County House Road, Blackwood, NJ 08012 // homewardboundnj.org.
