    Summer Volunteer Orientation

Garden State Equality is gearing up for an exciting, busy summer—and they need your help!

They’re working around-the-clock to advance equality for LGBTQ people in New Jersey by promoting safe schools, expanding access to affirming healthcare, and passing critical laws that protect gay and transgender New Jerseyans each and every day.

And the work doesn’t stop at NJ state borders: they’re championing equality nationwide by working to pass The Equality Act in Congress and fighting back against the Trump-Pence administration’s anti-LGBTQ agenda.

This summer is packed with important events—such as the Equality Ball and dozens of Pride festivals throughout the state—where they’ll be connecting directly with New Jerseyans and talking about our important work. They’ll need all the help they can get to grow our movement. That’s where you come in!

Join them on Tuesday, May 21 at our Asbury Park headquarters for the Summer Volunteer Orientation and find out how you can become an integral part of Garden State Equality.

Be sure to bring a friend. We’ll have free pizza too.
