Shame-Sex Attraction Readings and Discussion at The Pride Center of New Jersey in Highland Park
Friday, September 4 – 6:30PM – 8:30PM
The Pride Center of New Jersey, 85 Raritan Ave., Highland Park, NJ
Join in for a community discussion of Shame-Sex Attraction: Survivors’ Stories of Conversion Therapy. This edited collection brings together the experiences of those who have been subjected to queer conversion therapy – it is an effort to expose conversion practices for what they are – pseudoscientific, bogus, ineffective, and wildly traumatic – and to recognise and listen to survivors.
