Pride Night At The Museum at Montclair Art Museum in Montclair

Join Out Montclair and the Montclair Art Museum for the first event of Montclair Pride 2022!

If you’ve never been to Free First Thursdays before, you don’t know what you’ve been missing! Tour the galleries with docents, enjoy specialty cocktails, and dance through the evening with truly the most glamourous of our community!

You’re invited to a special VIP cocktail reception hosted by Rose Cali, Ira Wagner, and Peter Yacobellis with artist Kyle Meyer to discuss his series Interwoven, in which Kyle explores the challenges of homosexuality in a hyper-masculine culture within Eswatini.

Through this series, Kyle aims to channel a voice for these silenced men and embrace an otherwise frowned-upon identity with a sense of pride without neglecting the reality of their everyday existence.

Enjoy an open bar, charcuterie platters by Van Hook, a Montclair Pride swag bag with materials from over fifty Montclair Pride sponsors, and meet and greet with Meyer, whose work is included in MAM’s permanent collection.

After the reception ends there’s still plenty of time to join the crowd on the dance floor!

Tickets start at $100 for members of MAM and $125 for non-members of the museum.
