Join them as they welcome to our beautiful BRCSJ HQ safe-space acclaimed author, artist, & MUTTS mastermind PATRICK McDONNELL to celebrate the release of his MARVEL-ous new book, “The Superhero’s Journey”!
This community conversation & book-signin’ will be a wonderful opportunity for our Beloved Community to experience this extraordinary work & even better this beautiful book will be available to purchase in support of our LGBTQIA safe-space & community activist center & Patrick will be signin’ all copies with a bonus drawin’ of yer very own lil’ superhero!
Honored & thrilled in equal measure to host Patrick to share this book & his journey of creation of it as well as his beloved comic strip MUTTS which now appears in over 700 newspapers in 20 countries, over 25 years in publication, & described by Peanuts creator Charles Schulz as “One of the best comic strips of all time.” McDonnell & the strip itself have received numerous awards & accolades for sharp focus on environmental & animal advocacy & a constant call for global harmony.
