Pride Center of New Jersey Open Space meeting

Open Space is focused on mental health awareness. In weekly meetings, participants will discuss various topics including, but not limited to, coping with mental illness, self-care, and proper ways to interact with a loved one with mental illness. Participants will play an active role in contributing discussion topics in order for the group to be educational to all attending.

Open Space is not a support group, nor is it therapy or a substitution for therapy. It is a casual discussion group. It is open to people struggling with their mental health, people who have loved ones with mental illness, or anyone who simply wants to learn more about mental health. It is recommended that participants be over the age of 16, but people of any age are welcome. The goals of Open Space will be to educate the participants and lessen the stigma associated with mental illness. This group will provide a safe, judgement-free space to discuss.

Meetings are weekly at The Pride Center of New Jersey, 85 Raritan Ave #100, Highland Park, NJ 08904 in Room #4 every Wednesday night from 7-9 pm.
