    Online Event: OutMusik Fest

    October 11, 2020 – 12:00AM to 11:30PM

This year marks the 32nd anniversary of the “National Coming Out Day” with the first edition of OUTMUSIK FEST. The OUTMUSIK FEST will have a lineup of artists who will utilize the platform in favor of the LGBTQ+ community. All performers are OUT & PROUD talents, prideful representatives of the community. The celebration will also feature a number of allied artists who are fighting for the same ideals and values behind OUTMUSIK FEST. These partners will be in charge of introducing the festival’s artistic performances and sharing powerful messages of advocacy.

RAYMIX, ESTEMAN and GEORGEL will be the official hosts of the first celebration of OUTMUSIK FEST. Confirmed allies so far are Karol G, Lila Downs, Gepe, Maite Perroni, Consuelo Duval, Chiquis, Nanpa Básico and Francisca Valenzuela as well as musical performances by Raymix, Esteman, Zemmoa, Christian Chávez, Georgel, Vanessa Zamora, Javiera Mena and Mabiland, among others. The complete list will be announced very soon. OUTMUSIK FEST is a free-of-charge celebration. The audience will be asked to make donations. Funds raised through the live stream will be directed to support foundations such as It Gets Better Project and The Trevor Project.

OUTMUSIK FEST will be a virtual celebration in 2020 and in the future, a live event that will take place every October 11th during the National Coming Out Day. This event will be broadcast from the OUTMUSIK.COM platform.

Spotify joins OUTMUSIK FEST by curating the official playlist to promote the work of all the participating artists, supporting LGBTQ+ talent and allies.

OUTMUSIK.COM will be a permanent resource for the LGBTQ+ community providing access to the news, assistance for mental health issues and at the same time it will be a platform for LGBTQ+ artists around the world to spread their work, report cases of injustice, homophobia or transphobia in the music industry.
