LGBT Pride comes to Princeton this June
The Bayard Rustin Center for Social Justice will be organizing the first-ever LGBT Pride Parade in Princeton. It will be on Saturday, June 22, 2019. Organizers are inviting people from all the local communities and from across the state and beyond.
This is Princeton’s inaugural Pride Parade. “Princeton has been known as a welcoming community for a long time,” said Princeton Councilwoman Leticia Fraga. “Thanks to the Bayard Rustin Center for Social Justice, we can assert that it includes our LGBTQIA community. The Pride parade being organized by Chief Activist, Robt Seda-Schreiber, will be a wonderful opportunity for all of us to support and to lift up our LGBTQIA community in celebration and solidarity.”
The Bayard Rustin Center for Social Justice is located on 21 Wiggins Street in Princeton and its Chief Activist, Robt Seda-Schreiber, is the coordinator for the parade. More information regarding registration to march as well how to donate, volunteer, or be of service is at rustincenter.org/pride-parade.
